Successful debut of atb_sales – Positive outlook for 2014 tourism year

Austrian tourism products have a new platform: the atb_sales trade fair hosted for the first time from January 26 to 28, 2014. Austrian Federal Minister for Trade and Tourism Reinhold Mitterlehner intends to boost economy pillar tourism with additional market and investment opportunities. Meanwhile, Hans Schenner, President of the Tourism and Leisure Division at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, emphasizes the role of tourism as reliable employer and driving force of Austria’s economy. more »

The Austrian National Tourist Office

The Austrian National Tourist Office (ANTO) is Austria’s national tourism organization. Since 1955 the main objective of this association (in the beginning called „Österreichische Fremdenverkehrswerbung“, from 1989 “Österreich Werbung”) has been the promotion of vacation country Austria. ANTO’s central goal is to secure and expand tourism country Austria’s competitiveness in cooperation with all Austrian tourism partners. By doing so, ANTO contributes essentially to increasing Austria’s market share in international tourism.
